Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Waldorf education.

Donations help us go beyond the basics, supporting programs and improvements that elevate learning, creativity, and connection. Your contributions make possible the things that tuition cannot—enhanced classroom experiences, faculty development, updated resources, and much-needed capital improvements.

In recent years, gifts from our community have helped purchase new school buses, expanded our library offerings, supported teacher training, and contributed to the building of our Performing Arts Center—a space that now brings music, theater, and celebration to life for our students and families.

Support Us By Joining Our Annual Fundraiser & Gala

Join us for The Storied Trail, our 25th annual Fundraiser & Gala, on Saturday, April 11, at 6:00 p.m. on our campus.

This formal, Texas-inspired evening is dedicated to sustaining a balanced, accessible Waldorf community, strengthening tuition assistance, and supporting faculty continuity.

The Storied Trail honors the path that brought Austin Waldorf School to where it is today, while proudly lighting the way forward.

The evening includes:

  • A family-style dinner and dessert from LeRoy & Lewis, awarded a Michelin Star in 2025, with vegetarian and gluten-free options;
  • Beer, organic/biodynamic wine, and creative non-alcoholic offerings, served by professional mixologists from Marfa Spirit Co., sponsored by Meteor Café;
  • Two-step dance lessons, sponsored by Fred Astaire Dance Studio;
  • Live music concert that will make you want to kick up those heels, with KUTX Artist of the Month Sentimental Family Band (MidCentury Country);
  • A journey down "The Storied Trail" — Honoring the Path and Lighting the Way Forward;
  • Live and Silent Auction;
  • Smilebooth Photography: globally famous, cutting-edge tech photo booth.
