Experience Austin Waldorf School in Person

There’s no better way to discover the spirit of Austin Waldorf School than by stepping onto our vibrant, 30+ acre campus.

To get the majority of the information you need as a parent, and to observe our teachers at work, we strongly recommend joining one of our scheduled Group Tours. Complementing these, our Open House gives your child the chance to visit our campus with you and discover the classrooms. Additionally, we warmly invite you to attend one of our beloved community events open to the public — like Pumpkin Path, Winter Fair, or the Juniper Tree Market.

Join a Group Tour

If you're considering enrolling your child at the Austin Waldorf School and would like a clearer idea of what to expect, these weekday group tours are for you.

You'll start at 9:00 a.m. During the first 30 minutes of a Group Tour, one of our faculty members will present the AWS curriculum and share insight into our Waldorf education - how we do what we do, and why. You will then split up into smaller groups and spend 15 minutes in a classroom. This will offer you a valuable peek into the wonderful ways our teachers bring the Waldorf philosophy to life. Parents attending with their partner may each choose a different section of the school for this part of the tour.

For the remaining 45 minutes, you'll rejoin the group to visit several of our additional learning spaces. The tour concludes with a Q&A, where our Enrollment Manager will answer any questions you may have.

After the tour, you will be invited to begin the admission process.

For a chance to talk to our faculty members and explore all of our campus spaces, we warmly invite you to attend our Open House in November.
