Experience Austin Waldorf School in Person

There’s no better way to discover the spirit of Austin Waldorf School than by stepping onto our vibrant, 30+ acre campus.

Follow the steps below to arrange your visit!

Additionally, we warmly invite you to attend one of our beloved community events open to the public — like Pumpkin Path (October), Winter Fair (December), or Spring Fair (April).

Book a Private Tour

During a private tour, which you'll be invited to book after submitting your inquiry, our Enrollment Manager will show you around the campus grounds. She will give you an extensive explanation about our school and answer all your questions. You will get to spend some time in a classroom, offering you a valuable peek into the wonderful ways our teachers bring the Waldorf philosophy to life.

After the tour, you will be invited to begin the admission process.

For scheduling reasons, we currently only offer private tours to families looking at enrolling for the 2026-2027 school year. Families looking at enrolling for the 2027-2028 school year and beyond are asked to book a Group Tour instead, which will resume in September 2026. Of course, we can make exceptions for extenuating circumstances. Please reach out to us at enroll@austinwaldorf.org if that is your case.

Join a Group Tour

Our Group Tours are scheduled to resume in September 2026. If you're looking at enrolling for the 2026-2027 school year, we recommend that you book a private tour instead.

If you're considering enrolling your child at the Austin Waldorf School, have submitted an inquiry, and would like a clearer idea of what to expect, these weekday group tours are for you.

You'll start at 9:00 a.m. During the first 30 minutes of a Group Tour, one of our faculty members will present the AWS curriculum and share insight into our Waldorf education - how we do what we do, and why. You will then split up into smaller groups and spend 15 minutes in a classroom. This will offer you a valuable peek into the wonderful ways our teachers bring the Waldorf philosophy to life. Parents attending with their partner may each choose a different section of the school for this part of the tour.

For the remaining 45 minutes, you'll rejoin the group to visit several of our additional learning spaces. The tour concludes with a Q&A, where our Enrollment Manager will answer any questions you may have.

After the tour, you will be invited to begin the admission process.

I wish I could go back to school — to this school.”Visiting Parent
